Maiza’s journey did not begin on a yoga mat. It began in the middle of a life crisis — when my body could no longer stay silent. Hair falling, skin breaking, exhaustion that sleep could not touch, and a sense of disconnection so vast it felt like I had become a stranger to myself.
"My body was not failing me — it was calling me back."
Slowly, through the practice of Kundalini Yoga, I began to return. Not to who I was before — but to something truer. The practice works directly on the nervous system, calming the emotions, so the mind can begin to see clearly, the body can begin to feel safely— it was a complete reorientation of life.
Working in my own mind, body and subtle energy — I went deeper. I travelled to India for months to train in Kundalini Yoga and Sound Healing, studying these ancient technologies as medicine, as feminine ritual, and as a way of restoring wholeness in the modern body.
